Equipment

This is an image of the equipment we will be using. It is a hd camera and a standard tripod.
The tripod will alow us to have a stable image and will alow for various diferent shots like pan shots. We will be using a hd camera to get a good image. It will allow us to capture the intensity of the moment.

The equipment we will be using to shoot the film is a Sony Handycam, this camera will allow us to shoot in high definition and get a good quality image. The tripod we are using is the Velbon DV-6000, it is quick and easy to set up, move and dismantle.



We will need a fake pistol and assault rifle which I have been able to find from a friend. Also army suits for the two characters that will be introduced which again I have been able to borrow from someone. Face paints may or may not be used but these are easy to acquire.

Preliminary Task

This is the prelimanary task. This was done to familiarise our group with learning how to use the cameras and learning how to deal with acting and editing. This gave us a taste of how making our actual video will be like. We as a group are now more confident with using different camera angles and various other things. We had to meet certain criteria like shot reverse shot, a variety of shots, dialogue and continuity. I think that the preliminary task was successful.

The are some codes and conventions that we may use for our film. We won't be using them all for the opening sequence as it is only 2 minutes long.
